You can make a reservation any time of year to pick-your-own at Butler’s outstanding farm, but the fall is when they really shine. As we bid farewell to potatoes and tomatoes, it’s time for the annual Pumpkin Harvest Festival, now in its 41st year.
This year’s activities include hayrides, corn mazes, and live music, plus a few special additions for 2021 – a pumpkin cannon, face painting, and pony rides. The festival runs until October 31st, so you have a few weeks to enjoy your annual dose of autumn bliss.

It doesn’t get more much more elaborate than autumn at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. For twenty-five years, they have provided Pennsylvania with first-rate pumpkins, as well as a full roster of unforgettable fall activites. Voted the #1 Corn Maze in America in 2020, the maze always has an annual theme, and this year’s? Thank you to essential workers. And the fun doesn’t have to end on Halloween – come back on November 6 for the “Pumpkin Madness Festival,” where you’ll have an opportunity to smash, throw, and otherwise destroy any leftover pumpkins. Stick around for fireworks after you’ve expressed your emotions.

Anyone can have a pumpkin patch, but The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence, New York takes it one step further: they have a pumpkin palace.
