Just in time for the crowds at Roland Garros, the new chic FILA Center Court fashion Collection debuts for French Open tennis 2022.  Our correspondent Julie Chang Murphy has all the details.

What is the new luxury Fila court collection for tennis players

The athletes have touched down in Roland Garros and the weather is warming up stateside. Naturally, we’re inspired to get back on to the courts and work on our backhands. But first, some new gear is in order.

If you’re already set with traditional tennis whites, this collection’s colorful palette will be just the bolt of energy you need in your closet. The palette highlights pink peacock, blue iolite and evening primrose hues, and a Galaxy print that looks part tie dye and part modern art. Check out the highlights of this sustainably minded collection below!

This empire waist tennis dress ($85) is made with recycled fibers while offering breathability, moisture-wicking and anti-odor capabilities. With 50+ UV protection, this electric dress is something we’d wear all day after a game for a sporty and youthful look.

If you’re more into sets, this skort ($75) has all the technical capabilities of the dress. Mix and match with a white tank or polo and you’re ready to ace anything that comes your way (even if it’s just errands).

We’re always on the hunt for the perfect active tank. Fila’s giving us two solid options with the Galaxy full coverage tank ($70) featuring flattering princess seams at front and back with mesh inserts. For something lighter in profile, we’re picking up the Cami tank ($70).

When we first got into tennis, we’re not ashamed to say that we were drawn into it by the cute skirts. Fila’s are amongst our faves for it’s super light and airy illusion mesh and technical capabilities. This pink peacock one in a 14 1/2” length ($70) is pure whimsy and charm while this 12” white skort ($70) is a creative take on tennis whites, just barely showing an under layer of contrast color.

We also appreciate how gender neutral these colors. This neon yellow crew ($60) — like a fresh tennis ball popped from the canister — is a perfect match with the Galaxy shorts ($65)  that features compression short inside lining.

If you’re a go big or go home type, match that energy with this Galaxy tee ($65) that has breathable mesh panel inserts so you still keep your cool. This polo ($70) is no slouch either with a fun neon pop on more traditional blue.
