If you love the idea of taking the kids on a good old fashioned outdoor camping trip, but you aren’t so sure about sleeping in that old tent from your husband’s college days, then glamping could be the vacation for you. It’s the perfect middle ground. It combines the proximity to nature you get on a traditional camping trip with the comfort and relaxation of a hotel stay.
Even better? Glamping resorts encourage kids to enjoy the outdoors without forcing parents to plan a complicated family camping itinerary, including not having to pack all the bulky equipment and tools. Win, win if we do say so ourselves.
