Media mogul Barry Diller led the effort to fund the $260 million, 2.4-acre public space, located near 13th Street in Hudson River Park. The views are astounding by day – and as the sun sets, this may be the best place in all of Manhattan to watch it. Timed tickets are required after 12 noon, so plan ahead. The park closes at 1:00A.
