Biden Harris spring summer 2021 fashion

Perhaps the dearth of healthy fashion escapism was another reason why there was so much attention paid to the sartorial choices of the power women at last month’s inauguration of President Biden.
Let’s be honest — we would have praised anything they wore, OK? Jill, Kamala, Michelle, Amanda, et al are all important firsts for our country. But let’s also be real — they did look objectively stunning.
Dr. Jill Biden and VP Kamala Harris spring 2021 fashion style
Now that we are a month into a new era, we thought it might be a good time to do a style check-in with First Lady Dr. Jill Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.
What have they been wearing around town and what is the message? After analyzing the press photos, we can say with confidence that the key word is: relatable. See? Politicians, they’re just like us.

what has Jill Biden been wearing this spring 2021?
What has First Lady Jill Biden been wearing this year? Dr. Jill Biden is still rocking her signature layered pearl necklaces and slaying it with the coat game. She’s sticking to traditionally feminine colors: purple, magenta, and light pink.
We love that she coordinates her face mask to her outfits — showing the country that it’s needn’t be an obstacle, but just a standard part of one’s ensemble (for now). She is fond of nude footwear, a practical choice that pairs well with any color and elongates the line.
But let me direct your attention to my favorite photo of the bunch: the one where she is wearing the light pink coat on her way to Camp David. Like all of us in inclement Northeast weather, she is practical and has on warm, inelegant snow boots.
As a working First-Lady, still committed to her job as a community college professor, we can imagine that her sturdy, Celine tote is stuffed with essays to grade and administrative paperwork. A woman’s work is never done even when on a private jet.
what has Vice President Kamala Harris been wearing this spring?
Vice President Kamala Harris has been sticking with a formula that has worked for her since her days in the Senate. What has Vice President Kamal Harris been wearing this year? She favors sober, tailored pantsuits with a neutral or monochrome top underneath. She elevates the uniform with her signature black or white pearls. Authoritative, refined, and all-business, she resembles a lot of power women at the top of various industries.
Off-duty, our VP looks like she could be one of our neighbors. Black puffer jacket, black boots, and even, leggings. We loved the viral clip of her jogging on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with husband (and multiple Secret Service agents.) She’s definitely hit the ground running.
While we loved the glamour on stage during the inauguration, the First Lady and Vice-President are striking the right tone for this moment in time. Their choices reflect an approachable, down-to-earth style that many Americans can relate to. It’s all about unity and we are here for it.
