The little dog remained still and quiet, even when two other dogs in line began barking furiously. And when it was time to go through the magnetometer, he/she (we’re actually not sure which, but let’s go with “she”) obediently sat waiting while her pet parent went through. Then, when summoned, she proceeded jauntily through on her own. A collective “Aww” erupted from the crowd. This is the power of a good dog. Even an airport security line becomes a place of laughter and joy, even if just for a moment. A wave of puppy love washed over the entire group of us. What should such a little darling be given as a holiday gift?
