If you’re ready to hit the road, have a look at our curated list of new ultra luxury vacation destinations, hotels and tour packages that are sure to provide unforgettable travel experiences.
1. Passalacqua, Lake Como, Italy.
At an awards ceremony in London this fall, the one-year old boutique luxury hotel Passalacqua was ranked number one in The World’s 50 Best Hotels. This is the first time that 50 Best, which has produced annual restaurant and bar lists, has ventured into the world of travel. Almost 600 industry experts were asked to name the seven hotels, in order of preference, that had impressed them the most from April 2021-23.
The Telegraph of London reports that “the parent-and-daughter team [running Passalacqua] are also behind the lake’s famed Grand Hotel Tremezzo, one of Italy’s most fashionable properties. Yet, unlike the Tremezzo that sits majestically on the lakefront . . . Passalacqua is hidden away in its own grounds in Moltrasio.” Book your visit here.
